How Our Testing and Promotions Work
Testing is an honor and a privilege and is taken very seriously at our Salt Lake City Utah martial arts school for adults.
Every student earns their rank and isn’t something that is just handed out. When ready, a student is invited to test by our chief instructor.
Each test and promotion is based on several factors, including:
- Student attitude
- Attendance
- Character
- Overall personal growth since last test
- Performance of requirements
- And more
Internationally Recognized Rank
All rank is sanctioned by the American Kenpo Karate International (AKKI) association which means your belt rank will be recognized internationally, not just locally.
