Jessica, you looked like a deer in the headlights when you walked in, but you quickly got comfortable and began absorbing the lessons. Thank you for sharing your story and for being such an advocate for the camps!

I can't wait! I was so disappointed when camp was cancelled in September, but it has sure made my anticipation for March 2008 camp grow.

I went to camp for the first time last year, not knowing what to expect. I had only been a student for a few months, and I worried that it wouldn't do me any good because I hadn't even learned many of the basics. I'm here to tell you that it doesn't matter how advanced you are, camp is worthwhile! Besides the obvious value of interacting with other AKKI students from across the globe, as well as with Mr. Mills, I was able to attend many classes and learn lessons that I remember today. I also gained perspective and pride/respect with regards to my chosen studio, its students and instructors. But the biggest thing I got out of camp was that it really energized me and helped me commit even more to my martial art studies. I've been promoting attending camp with my fellow students ever since! Hope to see ya in Vegas!
