Shawn Gough

Shawn is a third degree black belt under Mr. Ryan Wheaton.

Shawn Gough began his training in 1985 under the instruction of Pete Archuleta – a 4th degree black belt in American Kenpo and student of Paul Mills –10th degree black belt in American Kenpo and president of the American Kenpo Karate International association (AKKI).

Life took Shawn away from his training in 1989 until he joined Arrowhead Martial Arts Studio in 2000. Shawn has been instructing American Kenpo to men and women since 2002 and brings excitement and intensity to his teaching of the martial arts.

Shawn has attended multiple International seminars and received his black belt in September 2004, testing in front of the International Board of Directors in Las Vegas Nevada. Mr. Paul Mills was the chief examiner.

His love for the art, intensity in the studio, and genuine concern for all of the students make him an animated and exciting instructor to watch and learn from.
