About Arrowhead Martial Arts in Salt Lake City, Utah
Arrowhead Martial Arts Studio was founded in 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah by Ryan Wheaton as a way to create the perfect atmosphere for adults to learn the martial art of AMERICAN KENPO.
When Ryan first started training in the martial arts it was a remarkable experience — just not in a good way.
He felt like a number… like he wasn’t getting the attention he needed to progress… there were kids and adults mixed into the same class together… and more. There were contracts, credit checks, and payment plans; which were all put ahead of the one reason why he was there — to learn the martial arts.
After deciding to stick it out, he vowed that if he had his own martial arts studio someday, he would do things differently and create the environment he wished he had when he first started. That place is Arrowhead Martial Arts Studio.
Today, we help adults from all walks of life get a smart start in the martial arts. Whether you are looking for solid self defense skills, a new hobby, or just want to get into better shape, we can help!
